Across Alabama, Black families are too often left without the lactation care, education, and support they deserve. The Obsidian Milk Collective exists to change that.

We are building a network where Black families feel seen, supported, and safe in their feeding journeys. Through community conversations, culturally responsive lactation education, and scholarships for aspiring Black lactation professionals, we are reclaiming care as an act of resistance and love.

All donations directly support operational and program expenses. The Obsidian Milk Collective operates under a fiscal sponsor while our 501(c)(3) status is pending. Funds are administered in compliance with nonprofit requirements and used solely to advance our mission.
